Berlin: Breakfast at Melbourne Canteen

People tend to say, that in Germany breakfast is the most important meal of the day. True and usually a proper German breakfast includes bread, cold cuts, cheese and jam. But sometimes I wake up and I need something else. Then I enjoy the well prepared dishes of the Melbourne Canteen. This so called Canteen is located in Neukölln and it is the place to have some Egg Benedict, Pancakes, a toasted Sandwich and other delicious things.

Not even my dog Bex could take his eyes off of the good food. Did you spotted him?

Une journée avec des chaussures françaises

What a day...

I woke up this morning expecting nothing special, but then it turned out to be an awesome and quite french day. Why? Because I got those amazing Chanel Espadrilles and new Sandro studded Sneakers. Ok I owned those Sneakers before, but I almost lost one of the studs so I went to the Sandro store and they gave me a brand new pair of shoes. I was really surprised, what a service and the stuff was incredibly nice.

Thank you Sandro!

होली - Holi Festival of Colours

While I was writing the post about Koh Phangan and the Half Moon Party, I thought about the partys I have been to and since I am not a huge party animal the Holi Festival in Berlin immediately crossed my mind. This event was incredible. I know a lot of people tried to criticize it and called it commercialized... probably true and the meaning behind this indian festival, that all people are equal for one day, wasn't ubiquitous all the time. But still I have to say, this experience was worth every penny and the atmosphere was amazing. It seemed like everyone was having the party of their life's. The only bad thing was, that none of our friends got tickets for the Holi, that was really sad and frustrating for us. But like I said before, the mood was so full of joy that everyone was partying with each other. I definitely look forward for next year's Holi and for now I will leave you with some impressions.
