Bruges: A beauty filled with chocolate

Welcome to Bruges! This tiny little place in Belgium stole my heart immediately with it's medieval houses, the beautiful canal, those charming little alleys and I shouldn't forget to mention the good food.
On every corner you can find really good restaurants, cosy pastries and cafés filled with famous belgian chocolate. We also stayed in a really pretty Bread & Breakfast called Number 11 which I can recommend to you.

Paris: Restaurant Marcel

I always found it quite hard to find a nice little place in Montmartre which wasn't too touristic, too expensive and on the other hand stil stylish. While I was walking through the streets I found this place and what can I say the food is really delicious and they offer a great breakfast too. The interior is cool with a touch of school class nostalgia and it's located on the corner of the beautiful Villa Léandre I already told you about here.

London Calling: Borough Market

When I think about London, the first thing that comes to my mind, are all those amazing markets around the city. The Borough Market is one of my favorite ones when it comes to food and don't forget to drink a Pimm's at the Café Brood. Yummy.

Berlin: Breakfast at Melbourne Canteen

People tend to say, that in Germany breakfast is the most important meal of the day. True and usually a proper German breakfast includes bread, cold cuts, cheese and jam. But sometimes I wake up and I need something else. Then I enjoy the well prepared dishes of the Melbourne Canteen. This so called Canteen is located in Neukölln and it is the place to have some Egg Benedict, Pancakes, a toasted Sandwich and other delicious things.

Not even my dog Bex could take his eyes off of the good food. Did you spotted him?

Photo Diary: Barcelona Day 3

After two days full of shopping and sightseeing it was time for a relaxed day. Which means grabbing a raspberry croissant at the Patisserie Hofmann, walking through the Parc de la Ciutadella enjoying the warm and sunny weather and then lying down on the beach till the sun goes down. That's what I call a perfect day and it was such a relief to escape the crowds for a day.
